| Welcome to The Lititz House Bed & Breakfast This beautiful old Colonial Revival home was built in 1904 and has the original, stunning chestnut woodwork and pocket doors that were common in turn of the century homes. It is centrally located in beautiful downtown Lititz, PA, just 3 blocks north of Main Street. The entire house is decorated with warm colors, beautiful furnishings and cozy areas for relaxing. Whether travelling for business, a weekend getaway, or extended vacation, make The Lititz House your home. A sweet & savory breakfast of several courses awaits you each morning! Baked Stratas, Stuffed French Toast, and Bread Puddings are just a few of the dishes prepared to perfection using fresh local and organics products when available. Thanks to Wilbur Chocolate, located just 2 blocks south of our B&B, you will literally float through this adorable town on a chocolate scented journey. Historic Lititz, founded in 1756, is in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country and is the home of Sturgis Pretzel Company, the country’s first pretzel bakery, and the Wilbur Chocolate Museum and Factory Store. Lititz also has many other wonderful gift shops, restaurants, tea and coffee houses, consignment stores and much more. |
| Lancaster County is well-known for its miles of antique stores, Amish history and quilt shopping, outlet stores, and, of course, Hershey Park. Other area attractions include the Strasburg Railroad and museum, the incredible Sight & Sound Theatres, and miles of biking and hiking trails. | Outside, enjoy a beautifully landscaped property with a privacy fence and year round perennials. The wrap-around porch and back decks offer wonderful places to sit and watch the world go by. The lovely fountain has become a real showcase piece and is now featured prominently in our garden, next to a wonderfully peaceful garden swing. Guests have their own private entrance and off-street parking. A lovely sitting room on the second floor provides a cozy place to read, watch cable TV or movies, play games or just get acquainted with other guests. Early morning coffee and tea are available in the sitting room followed by a full savory breakfast. |
